Meet John. He was born with low vision and grew up in a military family in the ‘60s. When he was little, he moved around the world a lot. Wherever his family was posted, the radio kept him connected to home. It brought news, familiar voices and a sense of belonging.
It was through a forces radio broadcast that John first heard about Visably.
They were called British Wireless for the Blind Fund back then, and he knew from his own experience how vital this charity is.
