Meet Chip

Free tech for children and young people
We've chosen our children's range specifically for young people living with sight loss. All devices are free of charge.
Our screen-free Voxblock audiobook player lets children lose themselves in their favourite stories — completely independently. Comes as a starter pack with three books, headphones and a travel case. Meanwhile our Echo Show and Echo Dot Kids Kid-friendly smart speakers with feature built-in parental controls. Annabel uses hers to listen to audiobooks at bedtime. "Before her Voxblock, reading was such a struggle. Now she can enjoy her stories completely independently."
And we know how sight loss can make sleep even harder for little ones. That's why we offer the My Little Morphée sleep soother, a gentle, screen-free sleep aid with soothing stories and sounds designed to help babies and young children settle and sleep.

Unlocking audio at St Vincent's School
At St Vincent’s School in Liverpool, pupils are discovering new ways to learn, connect and grow, thanks to a partnership with Visably.
This specialist school supports children with sensory and other additional needs. Thanks to the Alexa devices and iPads we provided the school, assistive technology is now part of everyday school life.
Our iPad projects
We are currently running our second pilot project, giving free iPads to children and young people in the greatest financial need. Our latest project is running in the Newcastle and Gateshead area, where we are giving iPads to families who would otherwise struggle to afford them.
