Bake it, run it, dare it - your fundraising, your way

A group of people chatting.

The only way to fundraise for Visably is your way! Bake a batch of brownies, sign up for a challenge that scares you a little, organise a quiz night — whatever you have the energy for, we'll be cheering you on.

Every penny goes towards getting life-changing technology into the hands of people living with sight loss.

Do something fun

A quiz at work. A cake sale at school. A jumble sale, a treasure hunt, a fancy dress party. These are the events that bring people together and, as it turns out, change lives at the same time.

Get competitive about it — best baker, best quizmaster, best costume. Whatever gets people involved and keeps people giving.

Set yourself a challenge

Always meant to run a marathon? Fancy giving up something hard for a month? Thinking about swapping the car for a bike?

A challenge is a great reason to fundraise — and fundraising is a great reason to actually follow through. Get people to sponsor you, share your progress and see how far you can go.

Fundraise in celebration

Got enough stuff? Ask for donations to your favourite charity instead of gifts to mark a big celebration?

If you have a birthday or a big anniversary, a wedding or other life event coming up, set up a JustGiving page and ask for donations. You’ll be able to set a target and see messages and donations as they come in.

We're here to cheer you on

We'd love to know. Tell Hayley at hayley@visably.org.uk — she'll cheer you on, share your fundraiser on our social channels and make sure you feel properly celebrated.

Because you should. What you're doing matters.
