Catherine loves the simple things. A good book. An evening listening to music or the radio. And, whenever she can, spending time with her three children and five grandchildren.

A retired teacher, Catherine has lived with high myopia and other eye conditions for many years. As her sight gradually changed, so did some of the everyday moments she once took for granted.

"The vision in my right eye gradually began to deteriorate over time due to a slow-growing cataract, making life quite challenging at times."
